Not as comfortable as my last all Memory foam Sealy

For the past 13 years I've slept on a Kingsize Sealy bed made with 100% memory foam (no springs) which was Sealy's version of "Tempurpedic." It was been the BEST bed I ever had, even after 13 years it was comfortable & I woke refreshed. It made me a believer in longevity of a bed without coils. I ...moved and had to buy another bed so I first purchased the Copper II Sealy Hybrid FIRM Queen but had aches after sleeping on it each night. It felt good laying on my back on that bed in the store but be warned the FIRM for me at home was hard and unforgiving. I am 55 and weight 165 lbs. In the store it felt similar to the bed I had in the past but after sleeping on it, the pressure points became evident. I could not handle waking up with an aching feeling so I had the store swap it out with the Sealy Copper II PLUSH a month later and I was able to wake up without the same aches. This Plush version is okay when I back sleep, but still not great when I side sleep as I feel pressure points that I did not in my 13 year old Sealy Posturpedic memory foam bed & I noticed my arm went to sleep at some point too. The gas-offing from this 2nd bed has been very strong. I "made up" this 2nd bed with the sheets and comforter as soon as I got it, but I guess should have let it air out for a couple days first. After 3 days I still smell the chemical odor coming from it especially when I move around or lift up the covers. That can't be healthy. I regret not spending more and buying the all foam Sealy Performance Thrilled Plush Conform bed without coils as I think that would have been a close match to my old bed plus I think beds with coils wear out sooner. I am hoping the bed gets better after "breaking it in" as the salesman encouraged it needed that time. I do like the design of the mattress cover. However after reading about organic bedding recently, I will move this Copper II Plush to a guest bedroom and try an all natural latex bed in my master bedroom next.
