I was contemplating buying this table , but after the reviews of it exploding I have changed my mind

Very nice table on a budget

I love it. Perfect for my space.

Can anyone help me obtain the hardware that goes to this table assembly? I tried getting the right size bolts (5/16") and dowel pins But after struggling to find the appropriate length, I'd rather just buy it from the manufacturer. Please help!

THIS TABLE LOOKED VERY HIGH END IN THE SHOWROOM. HOWEVER, THE STORE GAVE ME THE FLOOR MODEL WITHOUT TELLING ME AND THOUGHT THAT I WOULD NOT RECOGNIZED IT. THEY TRIED TO GIVE ME A DISCOUNT. ONE WEEK LATER I WAS GETTING READY FOR WORK AND I HEARD THE LOUDEST CRASH SOUND. I RAN DOWNSTAIRS TO FIND THAT THE TABLE HAD FULLY EXPLODED. I CALLED THE STORE AND THEY OFFERED ME A REPLACEMENT AS IF I WOULD WANT TO PURCHASE THIS BRAND AGAIN. THEY HAD TO NERVE TO ASK ME TO RETURN THE DAMAGED PRODUCT. THAT WON'T BE HAPPENING. THE GLASS IS IN THE TRASH. MY HUSBAND RETURN THE BASE WHICH WAS ALREADY DAMAGED BY IT BEING THE FLOOR MODEL. ****DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SET, IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS*****

This table fits perfectly in our bay kitchen eating area and accommodates up to six chairs. I highly recommend it.

Never buy this table. I had mine for 2 years almost to the day. The table exploded into a million pieces. My cat, who was sitting in the window sill near the table cut his paw. The explosion was so forceful and loud, my father-in-law was shocked. Thank goodness someone was home when this happened or I fear my pets would have been severely injured. I had the extended warranty on this table and while they credited me right away to get a new table from VCF, VCF was not as helpful. The VCF associate called right away to tell me they received the credit. They also informed me I needed to take what was left of the exploding table to a warehouse 20 miles from my house and then pay delivery fees for the new table. They were not willing to help a customer who had a faulty product at all. They've lost a customer. I have not replaced the table as of yet as I'm debating if I will forego the credit and just go somewhere else since VCF doesn't stand behind their products.

The glass on the table exploded in the middle of the night! No it did not simply fall, it EXPLODED across my kitchen! My floor is ruined. Yes, thank God my daughter or no one was around. This is ridiculous that American Signature is continuing to sell this product! I filed a report on consumer government site and will continuously spread the word. I will never buy from this company again,.

We heard an explosion and woke up middle of the night to see the glass table broke in million pieces and all over the room. Very upset we had to clean up the mess. But luckily, our kids and dog weren't around this table.

The table top on this table shattered out of nowhere. The table did not have anything sitting on it when this happened. am thankful that my children were not anywhere around. I will not shop at this store again because all they cared about was a warranty although there are other reviews indicating that the glass has shattered out of the blue.
